In the first semester, kids learn how robots work and how to build them. Every lesson produces a new robot — controlled via the app, with no programming knowledge required.
With extended LEGO® EV3 sets, participants build and test a new robot in every lesson — from the first driving model through dragsters, tracked vehicles, and gripper arms, up to their own combat robot for the big final tournament.
At the heart of semester 1 is understanding and building: every session starts with a real engineering concept (gear ratios, friction, differentials, all-wheel drive …), followed by 60 minutes of building and a hands-on competition. Programming starts in semester 2 — in the first semester the robots are controlled through our own app.
Every group is supervised by two coaches, with 8 extended EV3 sets. Building happens in pairs — two kids per set — for maximum build time and real teamwork.
Kids don't need to bring anything — all materials and the complete equipment are included.

There's no off-the-shelf remote control for these robots — so we built our own. EV3 Remote was built specifically for this program and makes steering the robots simple and intuitive. Developed with support from Roomnity and OUTEX.
